Zelensky names new defence minister as Ukraine evacuates frontline zones
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday proposed First Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov as his country's new defence minister, replacing Denys Shmyhal. Earlier, Zelensky appointed Kyrylo Budanov, the head of military intelligence, as his new chief of staff after his previous top aide resigned in November over a corruption scandal.
